My work often wants to bring attention to the interior, and I often think about what it might mean to the wearer. Perhaps wearing a simple silver object with a vibrant but changing patina’d copper interior exemplifies how someone might hold a thought, a feeling. But more often than not I see the color inside of my objects as a symbol of love. Something we all have within. I felt the need to do away with metaphor and express what we have and what I want to see in the world.
